About this tool

Super Easy QR Code Generator is a free QR code generator that places your logo in the middle of the code and builds UTM-tagged URLs, so the traffic a printed or shared code brings in shows up in your analytics tool as its own campaign.

Everything runs in your browser. The URL you type, the logo you pick, and the file you download stay on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. It is an open-source project by Nuung, released under the MIT license; the source is on GitHub.

Common questions

Is it free, and are my URLs uploaded anywhere?

It is free, and nothing is uploaded. The page runs entirely in your browser, so your URL, your logo, and the generated image never leave your device.

Why does my QR code not scan after adding a logo?

Usually the logo covers more modules than the error correction can recover, or it sits too close to the finder squares in the corners. Switch the error correction level to H, reduce the logo size, and keep a clear margin around the code.

Which format should I download, PNG or SVG?

PNG suits screens, social posts, and slides. SVG is a vector, so it stays sharp at any size; use it for print or whenever the code will be resized.

What resolution do I need for print?

Download at 1200 px for print, and keep the printed code large enough that a scanner can resolve the individual modules. The 300 px option is meant for small on-screen use.

Does the QR code expire?

No. The URL is encoded directly into the code, so it keeps working as long as that URL does. There is no redirect service in between and nothing to renew.

Can I track scans?

Scans are tracked through the UTM parameters in your analytics tool, such as GA4, once the visitor opens the link. The generator itself stores nothing and counts nothing.
